Summer Camp Options in Florida
Spring is approaching fast, which means, summer is soon to follow. While some families are lucky to have the time to spend summers vacationing with the children, many are left having to work and no place to send their children.
Summer camp is often a quick solution for some families, for others, it is simply too expensive. Luckily, there are programs out there for specific age groups. Some of the programs are even at a lower cost, if not completely free than your other traditional summer camps. The state of Florida is one state that does offer some free summer camp solutions. Here are a few options to fill your child’s day with fun and adventure:

Community Connections:
Located in Jacksonville, Florida, Community Connections offers a summer camp for those children who are a part of a low income family. Eligible children will be between the kindergarten ages, up to 15 years of age. They also include a full lunch, with two additional snacks.
Camp Keystone| Salvation Army
Located in Starke, Florida, this camp is full of adventure. Offering activities like, horseback riding, swimming, music and arts and crafts. This program is also available to low income families. Striving to give every child, no matter their background, a chance to have something special to talk about when school resumes.
Easter Seals
Though, this camp is not free, they do offer scholarships to children, on a case-by-case basis. This summer camp is available to those children who are living with a disability or another special need. Help your child expand and grow with their Camp Challenge.
